When Fashion Meets Health: A New Chapter in My 40s
I talk about fashion a lot, what I wear, how I style it, how it makes me feel. But the truth is… health is the foundation of everything. And I learned that the hard way.
When my father was diagnosed with dementia and cancer, something shifted in me.
It was an eye-opening reminder that the way we care for our bodies today shapes the life we live tomorrow. So I made a promise to myself: to take my health seriously, physically, mentally, and spiritually. And by the way… today was such an amazing day. The weather was perfect for this cute bathing suit top and my bamboo pants, simple, effortless, and full of sunshine energy.
In my 40s, my biggest tip to any woman is: never stop moving. Every single day, I do 300 jump ropes, 30 pushups, and walk 4 to 5 miles, Monday through Friday. I squat every day too, every chance I get. Movement is medicine, and it keeps me strong, grounded, and confident.
But it’s not just the body, I protect my mind just as much. I stay far away from anyone or anything that makes me feel small. Peace is priceless, and protecting your energy is a form of self-care.
So to every woman reading this: Please, never stop moving. Life is short, go after what makes you feel alive. Walk, dance, laugh, love… and yes, make love to your partner as much as you want. Your joy is part of your health, too.
This is the real glow. This is the real luxury.
This is grown-woman wellness. Wink 😉
