The Letter That Changed My Life

Five years ago, I was completely lost.
I had no idea what was next. I didn’t know what my life would look like. I questioned myself constantly.
What’s wrong with me?
Why am I so unlovable?
Why am I never chosen?
So I did what many of us do. I built a little bubble around myself and took my heart with me.
One day, I sat down and wrote God a letter. I poured out everything I had been carrying. Every fear. Every disappointment. Every unanswered question.
Then I wrote a simple note and placed it on my bedroom wall, where it would be the first thing I saw every morning.
“You are a badass, and God is crazy about you.”
It made me smile, but more importantly, it reminded me that my worth was never determined by who stayed, who left, or who failed to see me.
Little by little, I learned to love myself.
During that season, I wrote Still, I Remember You. What many people don’t know is that the story isn’t just about romance. It’s about healing, choosing yourself, believing in love again, and discovering that sometimes the greatest love story begins the moment you finally see your own worth.
Today, I stand here in this gorgeous two-piece feeling confident, feminine, and at peace. Not because life became perfect, but because I did the work to become the woman I once prayed to be.
If you’re in a season where you feel lost, don’t give up. Your story is still unfolding. One day you’ll look back and realize that the version of you who felt broken was actually becoming someone incredibly beautiful.
And yes… this white two-piece? I absolutely love how it makes me feel, elegant, confident, and completely myself. Sometimes an outfit doesn’t just change how you look; it reminds you how far you’ve come.
